Minor bug

The app is awesome! Im using for almost a year and Im very satisfied. But Ive come to ask the developers to fix a bug Im struggling with since Ive upgraded my iPad to the iOS 10: when I jump to another app and then come back, the app doesnt respond to any command. The only way I found to come around this issue is to close and reopen the app. Please! Im already avoiding using it because of this issue.
