Help !!! iPad slow

I love Simplenote and use it alongside National Velocity, which permits me to keep notes individually that I can access within Finder. I swear by Simplenote and disdain all other note taking apps.
However, Ive been having trouble with using it on my iPad. For some reason it really slows down. I hope you could help fix this issue... thank you so much!!!
