simple, direct, exactly what I needed

Really stands by the name. Its "simple" and "straightforward"

I love this app a lot. Needed a new app to replace Apple Notes when I added a windows PC to the mix. The "markdown if you want it" approach is REALLY REALLY GREAT. Its got tags, exporting, printing, searching, realtime sync and its free! What more could you want?

Extremely simple! Multiple people can use the same login and notes are viewed on all devices in real time! Can also log on through the website. Just what we needed and we highly recommend!

Highly recommended: Ive used Simplenote as my note taking tool as long as Ive owned an iPhone... The current version is the best yet. Very user friendly, and with the helpful features and nice aesthetic, theres no need for any other app.

Easily accessible, very handy, searchable. I use it for quick note taking, keeping track of various things to do, keeping logs, etc. It does not require internet use. And it can be saved for good if you have internet. Only issue I have had is that if I accidentally delete something large, sometimes I am unable to retrieve it-

My wife and I use this for shared lists like shopping lists and groceries. We use it constantly.

So far, I am very impressed it does everything I wanted to do. There are several things I love about this. The first thing is that it prints and it prints normally with no issues. The second thing I love is that it syncs flawlessly between all devices and does not appear to have any glitches. The third thing I love is that its not only on the cloud but locally on each device the chances of losing your data are slim. I love it simplicity and yet it has just enough of what you need.

I have an iPad, an android phone and Windows laptop. I can see my notes on all of them. When I see a book or a recipe or a travel tip that I want to add to my notes, I can do it from any of my devices. Yeah!

Between the apps, site and Windows program this offers what I need for simple, technological agnostic sharing of data.

sync and search both work great and the dark theme is rly easy on the eyes. its an essential tool in my phone-to-desktop-to-phone-to-desktop-to-tablet-to-phone-to-etc-ad-nauseum workflow. simplenote is bare-bones, but thats why i like it. i do a lot of writing that eventually has to be presented in specific formats, but i keep everything in simplenote until i absolutely have to, the move it into a more feature-heavy word processor to fuss with the margins, indents, italics, etc.

This is the best ever notes taking application. I am only lacking the possibility to put some words in bold or italic... Simple the BEST !! Useful, practical, simple and very effective!!!

I use this constantly. There are many improvements Id love to see, especially to tagging, but it is still excellent. Would love to have a way to pay for it.
