Simplenote is like having a fat little memo pad with you wherever you go. Always another blank page available to capture whatever needs capturing: a name and number, a book title, a grocery list, travel checklist, a haiku or sonnet, a favorite quote. Simplenote is simple in the best sense of the word. Update 5/2017: Simplenote is still elegantly simple. One of my most used apps.

Really enjoy using Simplenote. It syncs between my iOS and android devices seamlessly. I would give 5 stars if creation dates were added, like what exists in iOS Notes. Occasional Im searching for a note and all I could remember was an approximate date it was created but no creation date is shown.

Been using it for a couple years now and love it! I use it all the time for shopping lists, honey dos, stuff like that. Links well between mine and my wifes devices so we both have up to date lists right away!

I can use this on my iPad, iMac, and android phone with ease. I use it constantly, at work, at home, at the store, walking through the park, everywhere. Simple, and strong as an ox. I dont need a ton of bells and whistles to slow me down when Im taking notes. This is the perfect note pad.

Simplenote is well-named. I use it for all kinds of lists I use. No fancy formatting. Just type away. Syncs across my phone, pad, and laptop.

Theres something elegant about an app that does what it does simply and instantly, with no bloated features. I use this app every day, and more than any other notes app. Sure, its not Evernote, but at least its notes arent in a proprietary format. If you need your notes app to be more like Pinterest then this app isnt for you. But if you just need to jot down an idea, book or movie recommendation, quotes, etc. its a joy to use. I can find any of my hundreds of notes by simple keyword search. Theyre all there, even the ones from the Notational Velocity days (when there was no Mac version of Simplenote. (Notational Velocity is also a fine Mac app). Simple is no joke; its almost too good to be true – no in-app purchase B.S., no endless feature meddling, no subscription, no surprises. Think about how irritating all that stuff is.. now open Simplenote and breathe a sigh of relief.

I cant imagine how this could be any better. It seems smoother, more reliable, and less buggy than Notes from Apple, plus this works for Windows. EDIT: currently not syncing between devices. that makes it basically unusable.

This is a great app. My wife and I have been using it to share notes for years.

I love Simplenote and use it alongside National Velocity, which permits me to keep notes individually that I can access within Finder. I swear by Simplenote and disdain all other note taking apps. However, Ive been having trouble with using it on my iPad. For some reason it really slows down. I hope you could help fix this issue... thank you so much!!!

Effortless syncing of notes across numerous devices. Simple and effective UI.

I use this app daily for To do lists, shopping lists, etc. Its perfect and it syncs across both my mobile devices.

Simple is in the title and it is perfect for the basic note taking activities I have. Meeting minutes and quick jotting down of thoughts couldnt be easier and the syncing is instant and consistent. Highly recommended!
