Simply the best.

There is no other notes app. There is only Simplenote. ❤️

Excellent

Simple and useful.

Better products out there!!

Downloaded the app to use on my iPad Pro. Trying to follow the instruction to set up but cannot find anything but a white screen. Says to scroll to bottom for download. Not to be found. Frustrating and not simple if you cant get it to function.

Just works

Put it aside for four years. Been using a plain text editor and Dropbox, mostly for journaling and more-taking. However, in my constant efforts to stay organized, I realize how much I need tags to keep things straight. So, picked it up again. Happy to see old notes—even with timelines of versions—intact and ready to work. Really like organizing by tags– requires less remembering in my part. Like being able to use markdown, though wish it were on the Mac version too. Would like to see a share menu on the mac version, too.

Love it! Love it! Love it!

Loads and syncs quickly. Allows basic organization with tags. Simple and just what I need!

Excellent App

Syncs instantly among different devices, Windows and iOS. Simple in an elegant way, very subtle. Cant do research without it. If only it could add a little text formatting; nothing much, just underlining, bold face and italics.

Favorite notes app

I love the simplicity of this app. I used others like Wunderlist and Evernote but I always come back to this one.

So straightforward and clear

Ive just used it for a week--Im not big on reading blogs or complex app directions--and this has been a dream! Intuitive; not more complex than it needs to be; and the ability to double-tag (books or movies etc AND reminders, for example) is easy and useful. Highly Recommended

Simple as can be.

I just downloaded Simplenote. Its as simple as can be to use. I think I will use it a lot. Very nice app.

Still the go to app

Web iPhone and iPad interfaces all well thought out fast clean interfaces and this still continues to be the most useful combination of simplicity and features.

Coming back after many years

I used to love Simplenote but migrated over time to Evernote. The Evernote interface is getting too complicated and I am back.

Awesome! And simple.

It just works

Great app that just works. Especially in combination with notational velocity on my Mac this app is a joy to use and keeps my notes consistent across devices. Love it!

I always use this

Vary good

Simple & Good

While not having any particolar quirks, the app does what it promises without clutter. Hardly irreplaceable, but good nonetheless.

Simple elegant

I have used this app for several years and love it. Love that it allows me to quickly get needed info from my iPad, Mac and iPhone. Synch is great and fast. Wish it had the ability to use Harvard type lists but other than that, it is perfect. Highly recommend it. Thanks to developer!

Cannot not use Firefox for web app

Cannot open web app in Firefox 35.1. Must use Internet Explorer. Simplenote will not accept an email about this problem, apparently because the problem has been mentioned to them before. However, that said, Simplenote is an excellent app that never fails to instantly synchronize between all mobile devices and computer.

Great app

Utilize on both my smartphone and laptop/ tablet. In over four years of use, never lost any data and ability to collaborate really increases business creativity

Design feedback

First off, I am a huge fan so thank you for giving me such a helpful tool. Have you guys ever considered giving the users the ability to create a list (check box)? I also think it would be useful to embed media like images but I understand how that could turn into a whole different beast. Thank!

Great in its simplicity

Simplenote behaves as advertised, and this is what I like about it. *** I have a short and simple wish: Simplenote offers one convenient feature which I use a lot: An automatically triggered bullet list. Unfortunately it deviates from the bullet list standards. Could you please, after the carriage return is entered and you add the appropriate bullet list symbol, 1) Add a blank space 2) Put the first word in UpperNameCase ? (I.e. First letter in cap, others in lowercase) Thank you. You have a good, practical application.
