On my phone I want to be able to take a note quickly, tag it and find it later from anywhere. Simplenote does that for me with ease. Enough said.

Probably my favorite app. I use it to take quick notes and get back to them later. It syncs across all my devices extremely fast which is perfect for sharing as well.

Been ising it for years now. Simple, super fast and with a great web version for desktop. Nothing much left to be desired!

Works well, easy to use, allows multiple subject/ header categories. Easy to search, good syncing.

Nothing better for writing in my opinion. Sync works so smoothly, text display and the dark theme are perfect. The only thing I dont totally enjoy is the awkward swipe to create a new note. On a larger screen trying to navigate back to the lists often just opens a new blank note. Ive seen others do the same thing.

Reliable, intuitive, practical. Tags can be used like "folders", keeping notes organized. I hope Automatic keeps up the good work in the future. It would be even better if there were forms of backing up notes with their titles aside from iCloud. Thank you!

This app is great. It does not get bloated with useless features with each version. All I want is text and thats what it gives. Sharing is well thought out and works well.

We keep lists for various store, Home Depot, Grocery, Whole Foods, Bed Bath and Beyond so that when one or. Its of us are there we can refer to Simplenote and not forget anything. We also used it for baby names. I prefer Evernote but this is dead simple and straightforward so it works perfect for our personal stuff.

As a quick way to transfer notes to and from your device, Simplenote cant be beat. This is a must have app for iPhone users. If I need to get text to and from iOS to my desktop - I use this app!

Simplenote deserves its loyal fan base. Its simple, but not plain. Its easy, but not dumbed-down. Its free, but it doesnt look or act cheap. Its what the hipster "distraction-free writing apps" claim to be, but fail at so miserably. Simplenote is about as well designed and executed as it gets.

Ive been using this since the beginning. Ive even left a couple of scathing reviews years back when the app wouldnt sync notes properly and one time a VERY important note with months of work disappeared (and never recovered). It has been slowly improved and perfected over the years to the flawless app it now is and has been for some time. My business is based on taking calls and jotting down my clients info and it wouldnt be possible without this app. All seamlessly synced between my iPad, mac, android tablet, and iPhone. Ive tried google keep (good for things that need pictures), Evernote, and some others. None make it happen for me like Simplenote does. Craziest part is Ive never spent a dime and I dont know why which is why I feel obligated to at least leave a well deserved positive review. ??
