A workhorse with simple formatting, and syncing across devices is basically perfect. I need info at my disposal, not fancy graphics. Done deal.

The company got it right long ago. Many have tried to do the same but none have the polish and consistent ease of use of Simplenote.

Best app to replace a notepad by far. Quick and easy to capture info and find it later.

I have a good mind but 1 whose memory needs reminders regularly. I have over 30 topics that are a priority to me. I keep adding notes to them from things I learn from different sources that I dont want to forget or loose. If my phone fails or my other devices fail, I still have my records. Its nice to access them fro m my phone, laptop, desktop, and tablet. Thank you for this tool. Glmskm

Whats left to say that hasnt been said already? This app is simple, easy to use, and elegant. I use it for all of my creative thoughts, and supplement it with Google Keep for grocery lists and reminders. Absolutely love it, and am so grateful that it is free! I do wish that there was a way to order the notes by date created instead of date altered or alphabetically. I also wish there was a way to organize tags alphabetically instead of by date created.

Simplenote does exactly what its name says, it is a simple notetaker. It does 99% of what I need.

I love this app. Always synched. Always works. Use it for all notes, platform agnostic. Works well with Notational Velocity for Mac.
