I was looking for cross platform simple note taking app, I found it. I dont want to be locked to a platform which is the way you are with the iOS or Mac OS notes app. So far so good, I am quite pleased with this app.

Hadnt opened this app for a while until today and somehow its even better than I remembered. Its fast, looks nice, and as always, the syncing with Notational Velocity is great.

Works well, no unneeded frills or ads to get in the way.

I love the simple interface, with just enough to features to be helpful, without unnecessary fluff. Favorite features: syncing. Its across devices/computers, searching notes, pinning some notes for easy access, sharing notes. Just a great app.

Use all the time on my phone and desktop. Much faster than Evernote for simple lists & notes

Never had a problem with this app. Great companion to other note apps - I use it to keep personal notes that I dont want cluttering up other apps I use for work. Love that I can use it on desktop, too.

Sure wish there were a way to organize my notes by drag n drop or perhaps renumbering, to put my favorites at the top. I do pin them, but when I have 20 out of 80 pinned, I cant put my fav pinned ones on top. I do love the simplicity tho. I accidentally hit "trash" instead of "pin" after typing out a note and it disappeared with no warning into "trash". "Trash" does not allow restoring! :0(

Does precisely what its supposed to do, precisely as it should. Fantastic.

This app is great. I use it almost every day. Its fast and just works. The only reason Im not giving it 5 stars is because I would like to have the ability to bold and italicize text.

Simplenote is the most elegant and simple note-app out there. No bugs, always backs up the content even when no connection and has only useful features. You can really tell the people are really passionate creating this product, great customer service. Great Mac App and Web App to pair it with!

Best note app bar none. None of the mess of Evernote. Much cleaner and. Ore reliable than Apples Notes. Im a long time user and swear by it.

This app has served me well for over five years. Notes are stored in plain text and easily available on all of my devices. Unlike some other notes apps this is very "lightweight," opens quickly and syncs seamlessly.
