I like it

Much better than the "Notes " app that came on my iPhone. Simple to use and navigate. I have it on both my iPhone 6s and Windows desktop. I can view and edit in either, with syncing occurring automatically and immediately.

I started using this off and on with the old iPod Touch and have since moved to an iPad. I liked the simplicity of it. Now, I go to use it for a project, and it wants me to sign up for some sort of account. Yet another outfit wants my email address. Not happening. The last thing I need is one more app tracking me and distributing my address. Uninstalled.

Scrivener integrates beautifully with simplenote. Great apps!

I used Evernote for a few years, but it was a bit bloated and slow, and I really didnt need or want the formatted text or images that often resulted when I pasted text into my notes. Then I moved to Apples Notes app, and for a long time, I tolerated its oddities and frustrations on my iPhone, Macs and iCloud. Duplicated notes and syncing issues were annoying and rampant. But when Apple removed the ability to sort notes alphabetically on iOS, I had had enough. My search for an alternative led me to Simplenote about a year ago, and Ive never looked back. Its exactly what I need, and has the added benefit of having a Windows app too. Intuitive interface, built-in versioning, and solid as a rock. It still makes me happy every one of the 100+ times a day I use it to quickly jot down a shopping list, recipe, to do, movie to watch, book to read, or random thought. I dont think Ive ever loved an app so much. And through Simplenote, I also discovered Simperium. :)

Easy to use way to make notes that I can refer to later and has tools that allow me to access the notes via Internet or on my Mac. Constantly updated to keep up with new iOS features and changes. Love it! ^.^

The native Notes app has a slow sync with my computer. Simplenote is instantaneous.

Ive been using Simplenote for several years now. It is still hands-down the best note taking application for quick notes, keeping things organized, brainstorming and its powerful search makes it easy to find anything I need anytime.

I have used many note taking apps over the years, including Evernote, and now have settled on Simplenote and Notational Velocity to sync my many useful notes. Perhaps someday they will combine or take on additional platforms but until the. Ive been very happy with the note capture and capability.

I own 2 Windows machines as well as a few Apple products. This is the best note app that can easily sync between both platforms. I would give it 5 stars if the Windows version was as crisp as the Apple version. The Windows version is extremely bland but functional.

This simple little app has become indispensable. I use it to keep track of everything, and it works flawlessly. I have contacted the authors a couple of times with questions, ideas and comments, and they have always been prompt and courteous with their response.

Simplenote has been one of the most dependable apps for me. Been using for years with no issues. Just enough useful features but not too many to make it fussy.

Simple note is exactly as the title says. A simple effective and a great way to keep track of your thoughts and ideas and even longer organized pieces of writing. This is one of the most amazing uses of the cloud elegantly tied to mobile devices and computer usage.

Perfect for so many uses (notes, lists, etc.) and so easy to use. I even use it to transfer texts from my phone to my computer because it syncs immediately.
