I love its layout, fonts and its simplicity. I use it constantly. All my ideas, drafts, and articles for my blog and courses are there. I can work across all my devices. Finally, it remains free. Congratulation to the developers. Youve done great job .

Best app to think. Almost. The best app to keep notes. Almost. If it could only allow you to place objects inside of notes. Like pictures. Or pdfs. Sometimes you just need it despite of the simplicity.

Hi, thanks for the app, would pay for it really. There are some wishes as for the features: - Would be great if I could be placed at the same part of doc where I left it (as in Word 2016), since I usually write long texts there - Navigation would be great as well: by headers or using hashes like # or whatever: just to navigate inside a doc - a kind of pic or drawing import would be great, but it is less important than above. Cheers!

I must admit that after the latest several updates, the app became more stable. Will add 2 more stars to rating. ******** After update: No correct Markdown support. All the records are marked as Unpublished. The Send to button stopped working. ******** UPD: Crashes on launch each time without error report if device free space falls below 1.2 Gb. In the other cases crashes 1/2 of the time. Very slow on start. It seems, it doesnt backup last N notes on device to show quickly while syncing in background. It just ISNT a notepad for quick notes. The work with the app is by no means quick. I was forced to install other apps and move most frequently needed notes there. The support answers sometimes and sometimes remains silent but they have very important rule to not implement anything that was asked at all. All they may say is the little update is on the go improving stability a bit. Also, they like small fonts very much and they are sure everyone can read it easily even after being told the opposite. ---------- Cant wait for third-party notepad with Simplenote sync. That would be an ideal solution. Knowing the experience with Mac version which is the worst notepad with Simplenote support. The best is nvALT. Simplenote official one is painfully slow and it has so small font size making it merely useless. That dont fix it. iOS version is very slow on start. It doesnt give an a ability to quickly record your thoughts or info and move on, until it decides that it tried enough to sync with server. In the latest times, it started to crash on launch. I tried to kill it via system process manager. Then, Ive removed the app, reinstalled it and went through authorization and first time syncing. It seemed to fix the crash, but only partly, as I see by now. I have 2 notepad apps just to drop a note quickly without waiting for Simplenote to start or guessing will it even try or this time it wont. Yes, I have a lot of notes. But 2 months ago it wasnt an issue for the app. And I havent added thousand notes recently. Indeed that is the thing. If I had just 2 notes, I could move to any other notes service quite easily, even if in that case the app worked fine. Well, the service itself is useful and the idea is really great. But the implementation is weak with sync issues reported by other users and startup crashes and freezes I saw by myself. Dont believe they will fix it, however. And, traditionally, I need larger text size. Thanks!

Very cool app. I can write text on PC and read it on phone. Very useful. Also, I like collaborating!

Every time I put the app in background or in lockscreen, I cant no more use the keyboard: I must close the app and restart...

Ever since I accidentally deleted an important note in the default notes app, which I was unable to recover, Simplenote has been my answer to saving me from myself with nice automatic backups of older note versions, and note syncing across all platforms. Its simple to use and offers a few ways to organize your notes which is cool, you can organize them by date or alphabetically, and pin as many as you want to the top. Its probably been the most useful productivity tool for me in its simplicity. Highly recommended!

I love simplenote the best of all the note apps Ive used over the years. Its simple and easy to store notes off your phone and have them sync with multiple devices. The app font is clear and concise and there are never any formatting problems. I only wish it had support for folders or multiple account support so that I can keep myself organized better other than the simple tags system in place currently

Easy to use way to make notes that I can refer to later and has tools that allow me to access the notes via Internet or on my Mac. Constantly updated to keep up with new iOS features and changes. Love it! ^.^

Very good app that syncs well across my iPhone, iMac, & iPad. No need to look any further.

Great notes app - minimalist but not bare bones, clean design, and flawless syncing. I particularly love the Mac dashboard widget!

Apples native Notes back-up lost my notes when I upgraded (yes I backed-up before I upgraded), this one and only bad experience prompted me to look for better alternatives, namely something I could still find on my web browser (not the app), since I cant find my notes on Cloud. I have friends keeping losing their previous notes whenever they upgrade their iOS. It may have changed over time, but Im sorry, Apple have lost my confidence in their Notes app. Now its tucked together with other less-used app folder. Works great for me. Evernote never worked for me since it takes too many steps for my purpose of taking quick notes/draft messages. My husband found out Evernote (freebie version) wont even let you view your own notes without data connection! Errrr... Sorry, its either physical notebook or Simplenote for me. Thank you Simplenote! ^_^

Ive used it for 5+ years without a single hitch. Always syncs with all my devices. Easy search, share, publish and print. Like the name. Simple but useful and no bugs.

I love this app. It is very simple and allows a sign up to save your notes. Every option is straightforward and easy to find. There are so complications and you can even view the notes you erased. How cool is that? The only feature I feel like this app should have is grouping certain notes together, but it’s cool because you can search up your notes and put tags to them! I could recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quick write and an organized, electronic filing cabinet.
