This app is perfect The backup feature stores several earlier versions of a note all by time stamp. Simplenote never crashes or loses any note. Versatile, and does everything needed. I use SImplenote for all first drafts to final, whether for recipes or research. Great integration with iOS apps.

Works great with it synced to Dropbox and being able to access the notes and create notes and search on my mac using Notational Velocity application as well as my phone. More useful and doesnt generate multiple versions of a note like Apples app Notes does.

Simplenote is awesome, simple, free, and does what it says it does.

My family uses this application to make a cloud grocery list. Or a to-do list. As its name implies; it is a simple app. It syncs right away and is always dependable.

Its almost as if I collect note-taking apps: I find one that looks great--better than the one Im using at the time--then begin to become acquainted with some of its lacks and quirks and missing abilities. Finally, after searching the App Store reviews, I fasten on a better one. SimpleNote, though, has lived up to my expectations. It is deceptively simple, and is flexible enough to keep up with my changing needs. Its been more than six months now, and I am still impressed. This one is a keeper. E B

Simple! No fancy stuff but quick, easy, works across multiple platforms! Just what I need to jot down notes. I also use OneNote for heavy duty stuff but Simplenote is my favorite note taking app for the last 5 years or so!

Simplenote does the job to write a quick simply note and syncs seamlessly to my computer as well. It doesnt have any extra additions, which is nice to keep everything in its simple format. I use simplenote to the full extent that I need it. If I needed to do another task, thats where I use a different app, and thats how I differentiate between apps and simplenote keeps all my notes in one place, purely for writing.

A simpler more sophisticated replacement for Notes on my iPhone. I have been using it for over a year and a half and it has helped me tremendously on writing my next book coming up before Christmas. I love it because I can write a quick note while Im on the toilet for example and when I get home to my iMac I can copy and paste it onto my manuscript Word document. Priceless, polished and 100% reliable. I would be glad to pay for this app and that is why I am happy to write this review. Excellent product guys! Peace!

I use this app as a planner, and I love it! It is not complicated at all, and it syncs everywhere! This app is exactly what Ive been looking for and its perfect. Simple interface and design is great.

for years i have used simplenote. i love it: dependable; fast: remarkably simple (duh!! its simplenote); and no ones ruined it with unnecessary "improvements" - fulfilling my first law in life: if it aint broke, dont fix it.

This is absolutely perfect for my needs. Easy, straightforward note taking and uncomplicated syncing to my PC. Id happily support a paid version with Dropbox/Box backup support.

Awesome note taking app, beats competition except one feature is missing, and this one is essential to me: ability to display only untagged notes. At each update Im hoping for this feature, no luck so far!

Its good but why its not possible to use SimpleNote with Dropbox??
